' Product Overview '
This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas The Larson Electronics WALSB-120.15A-120X240-16A.GFCI 1500VA portable spider box steps up 120V AC 60Hz input voltage to 230V AC output voltage. This weatherproof portable spider box allows operators to plug into 120V line voltage and provide GFCI protected 230V to work equipment. The WALSB-120.15A-120X240-16A.GFCI portable spider box from Larson Electronics is built to provide operators with a reliable source of GFCI protected 230V power. This compact spider box is designed for portability and convenience as well as durability. Featuring an elevated base platform for protection from standing water and weatherproof construction, the WALSB-120.15A-120X230-16A.GFCI is ideal for powering 230V equipment and lighting in construction, entertainment, job-site, marine, and outdoor locations where 120V line voltage is commonly found. This portable spider box features a 230V 16A GFCI protected CEE7/4 Schuko outlet that provides sealed and secure connection for up to one device. The receptacle and GFCI feature hinged watertight covers protecting the face from rain, water, and moisture when not in use. The WALSB-120.15A-120X230-16A.GFCI spider box features short circuit and overload protection. In the instance of circuit overload, the unit automatically shuts down to protect the spider box from damage and restarts after 30 seconds The housing on the WALSB-120.15A-120X240-16A.GFCI is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating. The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this low voltage transformer does not tip over when in the field. The entire unit is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. The WALSB-120.15A-120X240-16A.GFCI portable spider box system converts primary 240V AC into 120V AC. Primary voltage is brought in via 25` of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cable that is fitted with an industrial grade male 5-15 cord cap. Secondary voltage is distributed via the single 230V 16A GFCI protected outlet. The GFCI between the output line and the outlet has a trip level of 6-10mA.
