The IND-HDLB-V1-80LED-1227-IR940 from Larson Electronics is a Heavy-Duty Industrial Infrared LED Light Bar that provides extreme durability combined with versatile mounting and power options. This infrared LED light bar offers a total radiant intensity of 200 with a 940nm wavelength. The infrared light is a native 120-277V LED light that does not use an external, back-mounted power supply, which provides an extremely rugged plug and play lighting solution that is ideal for use in commercial and industrial security applications, as well as military environments.
The IND-HDLB-V1-80LED-1227-IR940 infrared LED light bar from Larson Electronics produces 200 total radiant intensity during use. A total of 80 infrared LEDs drawing 3.1 watts each are arranged in rows and paired with high purity optics. We offer various beam degree options including 11°, 15°, 30°, 50° and 80°, covering a wide variety of both spot and flood lighting applications.
This unit utilizes 940 nm infrared bands. To ensure operation in versatile environments, the IND-HDLB-V1-80LED-1227-IR940 is constructed with stainless steel hardware (including mounting brackets) and a heavy-duty billet aluminum CNC machined housing. The lens is made out of shatter resistant polycarbonate with a one-piece front lens cover and o-ring lens gasket. To prevent moisture from entering the power cable, the wiring of the light uses a potted power connector.
LED Benefits:
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
Heat Management:
Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs to reduce the amount of heat produced. These LED light bars utilize an extruded aluminum housing that incorporates an advanced heat radiating fin design which dissipates heat efficiently to produce the maximum amount of power and longevity from the integrated Edison Edixeon Emitters. The end result is more light and longer LED life with higher average lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours.
Voltage Control:
These units are able to monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These LEDLB series light bars can operate on current ranging from 120-277V AC @ 50/60Hz without any modifications necessary as a result. This multi-voltage capability makes these units ideal for mobile and stand alone applications such as those found on commercial boats, heavy equipment and vehicles where power systems don`t always operate with 12 volts and external generators, transformers or inverters are impractical.

Wiring/Plug:
This LED light fixture is equipped with 10 feet of 16/2 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
Durability:
This LED light bar from Larson Electronics offers IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. This unit can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, are waterproof to three feet and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The LEDs featured in this light bar have a total radiant intensity of 200 @ 2.5 RI per LED.
Mounting:
This infrared LED light bar is equipped with stainless steel mounting brackets which slide within the aluminum housing to allow users to adjust their positioning to match existing or user drilled mounting holes. Each stainless steel bracket has an integrated rubber bushing to absorb vibrations and shocks. To secure the lights in place users simply slide the mounting bolts through the aluminum mounting block and rubber isolator, through the mounting surface, then secure the bolt with a locking nut on the opposite side of the mounting surface. This mounting system enables mounting to flat or round surfaces and allows for minimal 7 degrees of flexibility of angle placement of the light. Adjustment of the light is made with set screws. The mounting legs can be mounted inwards or outwards by flipping them around. Flipping in takes up less space for compact installs and flipping out makes the light easier to install. We also offer a BC-2 bar clamp mounting system
