Made in Texas The Larson Electronics WAT-24X6.5-TNDM-2XLM-HA-16-2X500LTL-MOD1 Synchronized Tandem Mast System is a trailer-mounted solution for transporting and raising industrial equipment, including curtains, lights, cameras and more. This trailer is equipped with two hydraulic-powered masts, which are controlled wirelessly via a remote control, and two 500-watt LED fixtures (on top of each mast). Both steel towers can be raised to reach heights up to 18.4` (mast fully raised with trailer; 16` from trailer bed). The WAT-24X6.5-TNDM-2XLM-HA-16-2X500LTL-MOD1 is a trailer-mounted system for transporting and raising industrial equipment, such as curtains, covers, lights and more. Equipped with a trailer bed measuring 24` x 6.5`, this unit consists of two steel masts, which can be raised up to 16` (from the trailer bed), and two 500-watt LED lamps (individually mounted on top of each mast). During operation, the trailer-mounted system is capable of hoisting curtains measuring 16` x 20`. Mounting connections for equipment can be found on top, bottom and inside the masts. Operators can control the hydraulics using a wireless remote control with a 100` range (maximum). Buttons on the controller include extend, on/off and retract. The dual LED lights mounted on each tower produce a total of 120,000 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 1,000 watts. Fourty-Eight CREE® high output LEDs producing 1,250 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours. Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-LTL-500W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The CREE® LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,0000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered. Trailer: Durable, painted steel construction makes the trailer sturdy during use. The 24` long tandem axle light tower trailer securely holds the light masts to allow for raising and lowering heavy loads. Each axle is rated at 5,700 lbs and equipped with P235/80R16 tubeless tires and wheels. The rear axle is equipped with electric brakes. The trailer features a height adjustable pintle hitch that provides secure hookup to tow vehicles. A single 7,000 lbs rated tongue jack provides a stable connect-disconnect platform as well as additional stability during tower deployment. Standard heavy duty safety chains are included. The trailer is finished in industrial grade paint for protection against rust and corrosion and provides an attractive finish. The trailer is equipped with stop/tail/turn lights, side markers, and license plate light for meet with FMVSS and DOT regulations. Six 7,000 lbs hand crank jacks are used for raising the trailer up off the ground, and four 7,000 lbs hand crank jacks mounted on extending outriggers are used for leveling and stabilizing the trailer assembly. Each of the four jacks are attached to a pivoting outrigger constructed of 6` by 6" by 6.3" steel I-beams. The jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. These outriggers can be extended 6` out from the side of the trailer for added stability. Dual Hydraulic Masts: The trailer is equipped with two, three-stage hydraulic masts, designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy payloads up to 16` above the trailer deck. The dual masts are connected via a 20` long I-beam, allowing operators to suspend heavy equipment from the I-beam. The dual hydraulic masts elevate the I-beam to a total height of 16` above the trailer bed, and collapse to 8.5`. The masts are elevated using hydraulics. The base stage is stationary, the middle stage is raised via the primary hydraulic ram, and the top stage is then raised via a secondary hydraulic ram. Both side elevate and collapse at the same rate. No manual winch is required at any point of the elevation process which makes operation convenient and easy. |
