Made in the USA The EXP-LED-F4W-R2 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof LED Flashlight for operators working within hazardous locations and environments where potentially explosive vapors, gases and other volatile compounds may be encountered. The battery-powered device is capable of illuminating objects as far as 774.28' away in high mode (325 lumens). This safety yellow LED flashlight features dual magnets located at the base and clip for hands-free applications. The EXP-LED-F4W-R2 offers powerful lighting in combustible work facilities and hazardous locations. This compact LED light is powered by three, AA batteries and features high/low beam modes. In high mode, the unit provides 325 lumens with 774.28' beam distance. When low mode is selected, the LED light emits 125 lumens with 547.9' beam distance. In high mode, this portable unit offers 7 hours of runtime. In low mode, the flashlight provides 24 hours of runtime. The housing features non-sparking protection for safety in combustible locations. This LED flashlight has a 2-meter drop rating and IPX7 waterproof protection (submersible up to 1 meter). Recommended for flammable sites, this explosion proof light is designed for use in Class I, Division 1 and ATEX/IECEx- Zone 0 rated environments. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Mount: The explosion proof LED flashlight contains dual magnets for portable/hands-free operation at the base and clip (side). A tail cap slot is also available for lanyards.
