The RUL-10-FR Explosion Proof Portable Light is Class 1, Division 1 & 2 and Class 2, Division 1 & 2 approved and provides 16 hours of runtime on a single charge. This portable explosion proof lantern is rechargeable and produces a 70,000 candela peak beam intensity reaching over 1,400` in length. This lightweight unit weighs only 2 pounds and is powered by lithium ion batteries that require no special charging procedures and have no charge memory issues. Using the latest lithium ion battery technology allows this unit to be recharged regardless of current charge levels, so there is no need to fully discharge the light before recharging. The battery will hold its charge for 18 months, even when on the shelf. However, the smart charging technology enables the operator to leave the light on the docking station indefinitely.
The docking station can be placed on a table, mounted to a wall or vehicle mounted. Included is an LED battery status indicator light. The battery status indicator activates when there is 30 minutes of light remaining. This feature compliments the lithium ion technology by monitoring battery status, allowing the user to effectively manage their time. The lithium ion battery pack in this unit also helps this unit a achieve a 33% lighter weight than its competitors, an important consideration for firefighters whose basic equipment can already weigh 65-70 lbs.

This light is waterproof to provide all weather durability and has an articulated head which allows the user to position the lamp head through 90 degrees of movement for the most convenient handling. The durable housing is constructed of impact resistant nylon and has a rubberized coating and ribbed handle for added durability and improved grip. The high output LED package in this unit is combined with a high quality reflector to produce 225 lumen (120,000 candlepower) high beam and 100 lumen low beam. The high powered LED assembly provides a strong beam that is comparable to the output of more powerful and higher priced flashlights. This unit also includes a pair of flashing red and white LEDs located on the tail of the unit that can be used as warning or indicator lamps. Control of the RUL-10-EP operating modes is via a three way toggle switch which allows the main light to be operated alone or in tandem with the flashing tail lights, producing an ideal emergency services or utility light that can serve in a wide variety of situations.
The Lithium-Ion, 6600mAH, 7.8V batteries in this unit are charged via an included 120 Volt AC wall charger and charging cord that is suitable for domestic use. Also available is an optional DC charger for 12V DC and 24V DC charging. This unit is charged in approximately 4.5 hours and has a runtime of 5 hours on a single charge. This light is waterproof and tested to 24 hours of submersion at 1 foot. Also included with this light is a carrying strap for easy carrying and a choice of black, yellow, orange, and high visible green colors are available.

Return & Refund Policy
For All non-Larson Products If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us by emailing or call 1-844-787-LITE within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).
Leased and hazardous items are also non-returnable. Contact customer service for a complete list of applicable products.
Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.

Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
How to Return For all returns, you can email us at sales@purilite.ca. You will need the invoice number in the subject line of the email. You can use one of your preferred carriers. Please note that for freight collect shipments, you are responsible for order tracking once the freight is loaded onto the truck. In addition, PuriLite Industrial cannot assist you with filing damage claims with your carrier.
All returns must be authorized by PuriLite. A Return Authorization Number must be obtained from PuriLite Customer Service Department, and the client must provide the Invoice number at the time of the request. The following conditions must be met. Failure to do so could result in refusal of a shipment by us.
At the time of the return, goods must be a stock item with PuriLite and the returned quantity must correspond to the quantity of the original packaging
Approval and shipping destination must be obtained from PuriLite before returning goods;
Goods must be returned to the appropriate location within 10 working days after receiving the return authorization number;
The return authorization number and invoice number must be identified on the return address label;
Goods must be in their original packaging, arrive undamaged and in resalable form
All returns are to be sent prepaid;
Specially ordered goods are non returnable – these products are identified with a part number beginning with a // on quotes and invoices.
Goods damaged in transit must be signed as damaged by the receiver and carrier at the time of receipt of goods in order to request credit from PuriLite.
PuriLite reserves the right to deny any Returns or Claims if the above conditions are not met.
Orders for products affected by x-factor events such as viral outbreaks and other extreme circumstances CANNOT be returned once shipped and billed.
