Made in the USA The Larson Electronics SPLT-SMJB-0.3K-LP16-4XWP60-AT-MS-BC-M2 Mobile Solar Security Tower provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights to elevations up to sixteen feet in remote areas, construction sites and commercial locations. This solar light plant features a manual push up mast, two LED lights, job box, one 300-watt solar panel and 120aH lithium iron phosphate battery bank. Equipped with four casters for mobility, the battery bank will operate for 8+ hours on a fully charged battery bank. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This outdoor security mast enables wide-area monitoring in remote sites, including outdoor areas, construction sites, parking lots, commercial locations, events, roadway projects and more. This mobile system includes a 16-foot manual push up mast, 300-watt solar panel, charge controller, battery bank, two LED lights and lockable job box. The entire assembly is mounted onto a skid platform with four casters, allowing operators to transport this portable security tower from location to location. During transportation, the LED lights can be stored inside the job box. LED Light Fixtures: This solar light plant is equipped with two, 60-watt high output LED light fixtures. Each unit offers 6,000 lumens during use (12,000 total lumens). The mounting assembly provides rotation and tilt to allow the user to position the unit as desired. These waterproof and vapor proof LED lights are equipped with a motion sensor for automated functionality. Operating modes include: timer, motion sensor and manual light operation. For dark sky compliance, we can add glare shields to the system (at an additional cost). LED Technology: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting. Light Mast: This three stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy equipment in locations where it must be elevated to heights up to 16` for effective coverage. Once the desired height is reached, the mast can be locked in place. The mast is extended to its full height manually. A 24" mast T-head supports the two LED fixtures at the top of the tower. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different positions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to a collapsed position, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. Custom builds can be provided for higher wind speed resistance when fully raised. Solar Panel Assembly: This unit is comprised of one 300-watt solar panel, generating a total maximum output of 0.3 KW. The panel is mounted to the stationary assembly and can be locked at an angle for optimized light intake. The panel is wired to the solar charger control box, which manages the charging system and hosts a charge controller. Operators are provided access to a 120aH lithium iron phosphate battery bank. Component Control Center: All the electrical components are encapsulated in a job box that is bolted to the skid platform. The job box that contains the component control system includes locks for security purposes. Mobile Skid Mount Assembly: All system components are secured on a heavy-duty skid platform. Two locking/swivel and two standard casters enable mobility around work areas. This system can fit in the back of standard pickup truck beds, trailers or inside enclosed trailers, as well as shipping containers.
