The Larson Electronics MTPC-LD-RB-690V-15HP-10HP-N1 15 horsepower rotary phase converter is designed to convert single phase power to three phase power for Easy motor loads. This phase converter accepts a single-phase 690V input and provides a three-phase 690V output. Operators may use this rotary phase converter to power equipment and machines with Easy motor loads up to 10 horsepower and 3.34 amps that require three phase power in locations where only single phase power is available.
Applications: The MTPC-LD-RB-690V-15HP-10HP-N1 is ideal for applications that utilize Easy motor loads. This includes actuator, cement hopper, door opener, drill press, folding machine, glass maker, glue spreader, hydraulic garbage baler, hydraulic tin can baler, manual mill, power feeder, reeling machine, rotary dishwasher, shoe machine, table saw, trash compacter, wood chipper and any other application that induces a Easy motor load up to a recommended 10 horsepower.
The MTPC-LD-RB-690V-15HP-10HP-N1 rotary phase converter is suitable for converting single phase 690V on-site power to three phase 690V power for equipment. This 15 HP idler motor phase converter connects to existing 690V single phase. After conversion, the phase converter provides three-phase 690V on the output side at 3.34 continual amps with a maximum of 9.55 inrush amps. All MTPC series phase converters provide +/- 2-5% voltage balance on the output side, depending on the single phase input power, for maximum efficiency and reduced stress on the motor. This rotary phase converter features a built-in motor starter with a start/stop push button switch for seamless activation. The power distribution blocks are oversized for easy installation in the preferred location.
The MTPC-LD-RB-690V-15HP-10HP-N1 control panel is housed in a NEMA 1 enclosure, making it suitable for indoor environments. This level of protection allows the rotary phase converter to withstand the ingress of solid objects, such as falling dirt. All of Larson Electronics LLC's phase converter control panels are NRTL certified to UL 508A.
The MTPC series of rotary phase converters are designed to operate based on overall load size. This includes operating multiple devices from one rotary phase converter, providing the combined horsepower of all devices being operated simutaniously does not exceed the horsepower rating for the load type. This includes fractional motors up to 10 HP motors, and any combination of motor sizes in between. Instant reversal motors are no problem for the MTPC series phase converters. Each phase converter comes ready to install.
Rotary Sizing: The MTPC-LD-RB-690V-15HP-10HP-N1 is sized for heavy/hard motor loads up to 10 horsepower. When correctly sized, Larson Electronics phase converters will provide years of trouble free service for your equipment. Larson Electronics offers single phase to three phase static and rotary phase converters for easy, medium, hard, and very hard motor loads. The motor load is dependant on the devices intended to operate on the phase converter. For additional load types or for additional sizes, please see the below links or call us today.

A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).
Leased and hazardous items are also non-returnable. Contact customer service for a complete list of applicable products.
Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.
There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface)
Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
