The SMLP-FCM-8X500LTL-LED Crane Mount LED Light Plant by Larson Electronics is a massive 3,840-watt lighting system that is suitable for stadium lighting, crane rig lighting, outdoor events and more. Capable of emitting 518,400 lumens, the light mast is mounted on a carbon steel, cube-style platform with picking eyes for seamless hoisting and transportation. This unit contains eight, 480-watt LED fixtures that operates on 208V AC, 240V AC, or 277V AC single phase via a customer provided line-in cord (please select the preferred voltage below).
The SMLP-FCM-8X500LTL-LED light plant is equipped with eight, 480-watt LED lamps (total of 3,840 watts) for superior lighting in industrial environments and large outdoor spaces. During operation, this unit emits a cool white light at 518,400 lumens in a flood beam configuration for wide area lighting. The light plant runs on 208V AC, 240V AC, or 277V AC single phase line-in power (via a customer provided line-in cord).
When in use, the LED light plant can light up between 7-70 acres and reach targets from distances up to 1,000 feet. This caged lighting system is designed to illuminate targets from an elevated position. Reflectors around each lamp help focus and amplify illumination during operation. Hooking and securing components around the mount allow operators to raise the unit safely. Operators have the option to lock in the light assemblies in five different positions: upright for storage, 45°, 60°, 75°, and 90° (straight down). Pick eyes located on top and sides of the unit are available for hanging in elevated positions for downward illumination. The LED fixtures may be set to different degrees for setting light distribution. Alternatively, the unit may also be set on its side.
This unit uses eight GAU-LTL-500W-LED lamps from Larson Electronics, which individually produces 64,800 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 480 watts. Fourty-Eight CREE high output LEDs producing 1,350 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a flood-configured beam. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance.
LED Benefits:
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light.
