The HL-LED-3XUV-120V from Larson Electronics is an LED UV Handheld Inspection Light that features three high-intensity UV-A LEDs that have a nominal steady state intensity of 9,000 µW/cm2 as well as a single white light LED to scan surfaces for flaws and to light up dark work areas. This LED UV inspection light operates on 120V AC voltage and is equipped with an 8 foot power cord terminated in a 5-15P cord cap. The HL-LED-3XUV-120V features a grip mounted three-way rocker switch for operators to toggle between off, white light and UV light. The HL-LED-3XUV-120V is designed with ease of use in the work place in mind thanks to the handheld design, application versatility and durable construction. Weighing only 1 pound, the HL-LED-3XUV-120V features a pistol grip handle to give operators a firm grasp on the light during inspection jobs. Located on the pistol grip is a 3-way rocker switch that allows users to easily and quickly switch between power off, UV light and white light. The addition of a white LED lighting option makes this handheld LED UV inspection light even more versatile as it givers operators the ability to inspect surfaces with white light and illuminate dark spaces without the need to switch to a second device. The HL-LED-3XUV-120V has built-in cooling fans that help the LEDs to maintain optimal output levels even during periods of extended use. Durability is not a problem with this LED UV inspection light. A rubber bumper and a strong glass lens protect the lamp and the internal electronics safe from bumps, drops and other impacts. Modular construction also makes this LED UV light easy to service in the field without significant downtime. The white LED in the HL-LED-3XUV-120V offers operators an intensity of 4,306 lux which helps to reveal surface flaws during general inspection as well as illuminating dim or dark work areas for increased visibility when the white LED is in use. When operators are using the UV function of this handheld inspection light, the light provides a 4 inch diameter area of coverage from a distance of 15 inches away from the surface being inspected. This helps operators to make shorter work of large scale inspection jobs. While in UV mode, the HL-LED-3XUV-120V gives off less than 22 lux of visilble light.
