The SCS-SPK-2X300PNL-SCS-400AL-1X250LTL-120V-N3R-M2 Remote Mount Solar Crane Light Kit from Larson Electronics is designed for sustainable energy lighting during crane operations and in outdoor sites. The system features one LED fixture, 300-watt solar panels, 40 aH lithium-ion batteries @ 400 aH capacity, charge controller and solar inverter. A floor-mount compatible NEMA 3R heavy-duty enclosure protects the batteries and charge controller from outdoor elements.
The SCS-SPK-2X300PNL-SCS-400AL-1X250LTL-120V-N3R-M2 is a solar-powered system that is designed to power one LED fixture for up to 8 hours at night. This system includes two 300-watt solar panels, two surface mounting kits for the solar panels, ten 40 aH lithium-ion batteries, one 60-amp charge controller, NEMA 3R enclosure, 20-foot cord and a 120V 350 watt solar inverter that provides 120V output. The solar charge control kit provides one full day of automation (8 hours) without any sun to charge the batteries. For stable performance, the system includes vibration isolators for the solar panels, battery box and LED light.
LED Light: The LED light fixture produces 32,400 lumens of high intensity light in outdoor locations. Twenty-Four CREE® high output LEDs producing 1,350 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights.
Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-LTL-250W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics offers IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. CREE® LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered.
Solar Panels: A total of two, 300-watt solar panels are included with the system. The 300-watt, mono crystalline solar panels have a 60-cell orientation and carries a 15A maximum fuse rating. Each unit measures 64.9"L x 39.1"W x 1.38"H. Constructed of anodized aluminum (black), these solar panels are NRTL certified to UL 1703 and UL module fire performance: Type 2. Connections for grounding are available at each corner of the units. Suitable for rugged conditions, the panels can withstand 25mm hail stones traveling at 51 mph.
The solar panel's proven junction box technology has 12 AWG PV wiring and works with transformerless inverters. Locking plug-in connectors offer operators safe and quick connections. Two surface mount L-bracket kits are included, which can be used to mount the solar panels to the roof or flat surfaces.

Inside the enclosure, operators are provided access to one MPPT charge controller. Capable of operating at 99% peak efficiency, each component features a maximum battery current of 60 amps. The 4-stage charge controllers can handle bulk, absorption, float and equalize charging stages. Protective features include the following: Overload, Short Circuit, High Voltage, High Temperature, Lightning/Transient Surges, Reverse Current @ Night. The controllers are supported by an included remote battery sensor. For connections to the controller, the following communication ports are available: MeterBus, RS-232, EIA-485, Ethernet, EMC-1.
The batteries and MPPT charge controllers are housed inside a NEMA 3R rated enclosure, which can be mounted on floors. An included 20-foot cord is available for connection between the light and battery enclosure.
LED Light Mount: The LED light is equipped with a back mount trunnion style bracket that allows the light to be attached to flat surfaces and adjusted through 160° of vertical movement. To adjust the unit after mounting, the user simply loosens the set screws located on either side of the unit, moves it into the desired position, then re-tightens the screws. The base of the mounting trunnion is equipped with several machined slots which allow users to utilize existing mounting holes and slide the unit for precise mount positioning.
Applications: Solar-powered systems, remote locations, alternative energy, sustainable energy systems, solar lighting, portable power, battery-powered systems, rechargeable lighting and more.

Return & Refund Policy
For All non-Larson Products If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us by emailing or call 1-844-787-LITE within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).
Leased and hazardous items are also non-returnable. Contact customer service for a complete list of applicable products.
Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.
There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface)
Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
