This unit includes one explosion proof receptacle rated at 20 amps. This compact battery powered pole mounted LED light is designed for portability and convenience as well as durability and is mounted to a wheeled, non-sparking aluminum frame for added protection. The front wheels on the frame are swivel casters with locking wheels. The output side is equipped with one 2023, Class I Division 1 receptacle designed to accept twist lock plugs like our EPP-15A and EPP-20A explosion proof plugs. The explosion proof enclosure contains two 70ah AGM batteries and charger/maintainer systems. This explosion proof battery powered LED light with adjustable pole comes standard with a 25 foot, 16/3 SOOW cord terminated with a 120V, 15 amp explosion proof male plug. The EPL-RPS-140A-APM-150LED-RT-M2 is designed to be charged within Class I Division 1 classified areas. Light Information: The light head on the EPL-RPS-140A-APM-150LED-RT-M2 provides 9,500 square feet of work area coverage with 17,500 lumens of light output. This adjustable LED light tower has a removable LED light head mounted on top of an anodized aluminum tower. The LED light head on this unit produces a wide flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating large workspaces and job sites. This light is designed for heavy duty use in demanding conditions including emergency services, mining, construction, marine, and industrial operations where durability and reliability is critical. The telescoping battery powered LED work light on the EPL-RPS-140A-APM-150LED-RT-M2 is comprised of a removable LED light head mounted atop an anodized aluminum adjustable pole fabricated with 2.5" by 2.5" by 1/8" thick tubing for the first stage, 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick tubing for the second stage and 1" by 1" by 1/8" thick tubing for the third stage. This light tower is anodized and the brackets are powder coated for durability and rust resistance. This adjustable and collapsible tower can be extended to twelve feet in and collapsed to five feet via knurled knobs that are tightened or loosened to allow for height adjustments by the operator. The lamp can independently be adjusted up, down or from side to side and locked into position. The entire unit is mounted on wheels for easy transportation and movement around the work area or job site. The front two wheels on the EPL-RPS-140A-APM-150LED-RT-M2 are swivel casters with locking wheels. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. |
