The Larson Electronics EPL-SL-9-50X-150LED-B-IBC-480V.3PH.AC Explosion Proof LED String Light is a superior lighting solution for hazardous locations that handle volatile compounds, including hydrogen. Made up of nine LED lamps in a daisy chain configuration, the 1,350-watt unit is capable of providing 90,000 lumens of white light during illumination. All LED lamps are equipped with I-beam clamps for mounting. This explosion proof fixture operates on 480V three-phase current and is equipped with a pin sleeve cord cap. The EPL-SL-9-50X-150LED-B-IBC-480V.3PH.AC offers powerful illumination in industrial buildings that work with explosive compounds, including hydrogen (Group B). This 1,350-watt fixture consists of nine LED lamps (150 watts per light) in a daisy chain configuration. During operation, the lighting system provides 90,000 lumens of white light with a color temperature rating of 6,000K. These luminaries are a direct replacement for 400-watt metal halide temporary lamps. The lamps operate on alternating phases to provide an equal load balance on the 3 phase circuit. This explosion proof LED fixture is constructed of copper-free aluminum. The lamps are powder coated for added durability and attractive aesthetic appearance. Special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture achieve an excellent 60,000+ hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. The IP67-rated unit is designed for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2; Class II, Divisions 1 & 2; and Class III, Divisions 1 & 2 work sites - with focus on facilities that handle hydrogen (Group B). LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Wiring/Mounting: The EPL-SL-9-50X-150LED-B-IBC-480V.3PH.AC is equipped with 500 feet of 10/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with a 30A 480V 3P4W pin/sleeve cord cap. A total of 50 feet of SOOW cord is allocated between each LED lamp, with a 50-foot whip at the end for completing electrical connections to a preferred power source. All nine explosion proof LED fixtures are equipped with I-beam mount clamps and connected in series. The lamps can be moved around and mounted to different points within the work area. The lights, however, must remain within 50 feet of each other.
