Made in the USA The EPL-TL-1X10W-C-PA-CDT.D-M1-120V Explosion Proof Signal Light from Larson Electronics is a cutting-edge LED warning system for flammable environments and facilities. This 10-watt explosion proof signal light is equipped with one LED strobing lamp, a remote mount timer and an audible horn. Compatible with 120V AC, the IP67-rated unit supports ceiling, wall, flat or surface mounting configurations. The EPL-TL-1X10W-C-PA-CDT.D-M1-120V is a fully functional LED warning system with a timer for flammable work sites. This unit consists of one explosion proof LED strobing lamp, a remote mount timer and an audible horn. The 10-watt system is compatible with 120V AC. This component emits 1,050 lumens and is offered in the following color options: red, green, amber, blue, white, or purple. The LED warning system is constructed of aluminum and is capable of withstanding 1,490 pounds PSI hydrostatic pressure. The unit is finished in a durable gray powder coat for resistance to corrosion. A NEMA-rated explosion proof junction box protects the internal wiring and can be tapped in order to connect this stack light to power sources. This explosion proof signal light with timer is durable, can operate in any weather condition and is rated for Class I, Division 1 and Class II, Division 1 areas where flammable gas and dust are present or have the potential to exist. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Horn: This LED stack light is equipped an explosion proof horn. Attached to the far end of the fixture, this audible horn provides operators with up to 8 different tones that can reach a peak output of 110dBA, powerful enough to be heard over industrial operations. The explosion proof audible alarm setup sounds a unique tone per the user setting. Timer: The remote mount timer contains an LCD display and magnetic switches that allow operators to change the hour settings after installation without opening the enclosure. This feature works through the glass of the clock, enabling operators to change the time settings quickly and safely. Time adjustments with the magnetic switches can be completed in the field (hazardous area). This unit also features buttons for start, stop, and pause which are also controlled by magnetic switches. Operators can be set for any time between 1 hour and 3600 hours using the remote mount timer. Once the timer is started, it will count down from the amount of hours chosen to zero. This digital countdown timer is equipped with a set of aux contacts for controlling external equipment such as indicator lights or for sending signals to controllers. These contacts are normally open and will close to complete the circuit once the timer starts. The timer is protected by a copper-free aluminum housing for durability. Neoprene 0-rings are provided with the enclosure to ensure water resistance in NEMA 4/IP66 conditions. An internal ground screw is conveniently located away from the mounting components. The enclosure is finished with silver powder epoxy paint (electrostatically applied). The ground screws are made out of zinc plated steel with green dye, while the allen head cover screw is constructed of cadmium plated steel. This timer comes with a 3/8" thick tempered glass lens cover. Hubs: The explosion proof unit comes with a 3/4" NPT conduit access hub for completing wiring connections using flying leads. Mounting: Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum base with pre-drilled holes designed to be bolted to walls and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment. Power is provided by individual conductors to allow independent operation of each lamp and tone combination. Operators can tap the explosion proof junction box in order to connect to a power source.
