This adjustable light tower is designed for rugged yet portable use and is ideal for use in demanding industrial and outdoor construction conditions. This portable light tower has a removable light head assembly mounted on top of a four leg steel quadpod equipped with 10 inch wheels for easy positioning of the unit from one area of the workspace to another. The light assembly on this unit produces a wide spot or flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating large workspaces and jobsites. This light is designed for heavy duty use in demanding conditions including emergency services, mining, construction, marine, and industrial operations where durability and portability is important. This portable LED light tower is comprised of a removable light assembly fitted with one 500W LED lamp mounted atop a four leg tripod fabricated from heavy duty steel. This adjustable and collapsible quadpod can be extended to twenty feet and collapsed to twelve feet. Each leg is four feet in length for added support. The unit is extended and lowered using an included hand crank cable winch equipped with a brake for fast and safe deployment. The first stage is twelve feet in length, with the second stage measuring eight feet. Included solid wheels allow the operator to tilt the unit back and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location when fully deployed. The light fixture assembly can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the center support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted up, down or from side to side and locked into position for maximum coverage of the work area. The easy to collapse design of this mini light tower allows users to easily break down and transport the unit yet is durable enough for any industrial or commercial application. Light Head Information: The LED light from Larson Electronics produces 67,500 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 500 watts at 5 amps from a 120 volt electrical system. Forty-Eight CREE® high output LEDs producing 1,406 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights. The light head assembly on this tower contains one 500 watt LED lamp producing 67,500 lumens. This lamp is adjustable, allowing operators to adjust the light for maximum coverage of the workspace. An included control box containing the ballast is included and features an inline on/off switch, line circuit protection and power indicator. This tower operates on 120 volts, 60 Hz, 1 phase power and draw 4.17 amps @ 500 watts. Voltage: The drivers in this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These light towers can operate on current ranging from 90 to 305V AC or 127 to 431V DC without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it.
