Buy American Compliant The BL24-LED from Larson Electronics is a LED Blasting Light that offers high light output and extreme durability combined with a versatile magnetic trunnion mounting system which provides convenience and 270 degrees of adjustability. This IP68 rated LED blasting light is waterproof to three meters and produces 4,320 lumens. This light comes equipped with a 200 lb grip magnetic mount. This LED blasting light operates on 120/277 V, AC 50/60 Hz stepped down to 24 V DC via an encapsulated inline stepdown transformer. The BL24-LED LED blasting light from Larson Electronics produces 4,320 lumens of bright light while drawing only 72 watts @ 6 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. Twenty-four Cree EZBright® three watt LEDs producing 180 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with high purity 35 degree optics to produce an evenly spread floodlight beam approximately 350 feet wide and 225 feet long. We also offer optional spotlight versions with 10 degree optics to produce a tighter beam with much longer throw and higher intensity. These LED blasting lights are IP68 rated and waterproof to 3 meters, sealed against intrusion by dust and dirt and very ruggedly constructed to withstand the most demanding environments, conditions and applications. These units are constructed of extruded aluminum and feature heavier housings, rubber isolated standard mounts and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses to provide increased durability against vibrations, impacts, and the harsh conditons of blasting operations. This light is equipped with a 200 lb grip magnetic mount base and a 50 foot cord between the light fixture and encapsulated inline transformer to provide ample mounting versatility. This magnetic base allows fast and easy setup of this light and will hold the fixture in place at speeds up to 85 mph or under high vibration conditions. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs to reduce the amount of heat produced. These LED light bars utilize an extruded aluminum housing that incorporates an advanced heat radiating fin design which dissipates heat efficiently to produce the maximum amount of power and longevity from the integrated Edison Edixeon® Emitters. The end result is more light and longer LED life with higher average lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours. Durability: This series of LED blasting lights from Larson Electronics offer IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, are waterproof to three meters, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from thick extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The Edixeon® LEDs offer inherent LED resistance to shocks and vibrations contributing to these units 15.6Grms rating of vibration tolerance. We recommend these LED lights for high stress - high vibratory conditions, high humidity climates, very cold areas and rough saltwater conditions. They are also well suited to environments where equipment is used in one temperature extreme and stored in another temperature extreme.

Voltage: The encapsulated transformer equipped with this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These light towers can operate on current ranging from 90 to 305V AC or 127 to 431V DC and step it down to 24V DC without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it.

Adjustable Magnetic Mounting: The dual 100 lb magnets and trunnion mounting design on the BL24-LED allows for easy fixture placement and post-placement angle positioning. This means that by loosening 2 thumb bolts located on either side of the light, the operator can adjust the positioning angle of this light 270 degrees. Then he/she would simply have to tighten thumb bolts to lock the angle in place. No tools are required for adjusting angle. This mounting system makes this unit ideal for vehicle and equipment lighting applications where the unit can simply be attached or removed as needed. Please note, the magnetic base on this unit increases the units overall height from 5" to 6.3" total.
