The Larson Electronics BLG-LEDBLT-HGL-X24I Work Area Nozzle Mount LED Blasting Gun Light with Handle, Quick-change lens, and inline transformer features an 18 watt LED that produces 1,530 lumens of intense LED illumination and is designed for extreme durability in media blasting applications. This powerful LED light is designed to be mounted to any standard blasting gun (Blasting Gun NOT included with this LED light). This nozzle mount LED blast light operates on standard 120/277V AC 50/60Hz stepped down to 24V DC via an inline transformer, and includes 100' of SOOW between the light and transformer.
This nozzle mount LED blasting gun light features a specially designed mounting system which allows the unit to be attached to the end of any standard blasting gun and features a polycarbonate handle to help stabilize the blast gun during operation. This mount includes all necessary mounting hardware and a protective lens cover that can be removed and replaced even when wearing gloves. This protective lens is a simple drop in, drop out configuration behind a twist-on lens frame, allowing operators to twist the lens off and drop in a new one as the lens is worn out by exposure to blasting materials such as coal slag, sand and baking soda. This lens is held in place by the delrin twist-on lens holder. We also offer a slot in the bottom of the lens holder that allows particles to clear when performing lens changes. Each unit comes with three lenses. Additional lenses can be purchased when needed.
A specially designed mounting system and quick change protective shield allows operators to use this unit as a blasting gun mounted light source that will stand up to abusive use. The protective lens is offered in polycarbonate or hardened glass materials. The polycarbonate lenses are for metal blast materials, while the glass lenses are for smaller abrasives.

This LED blast gun light is designed to be operated and serviced in the field with gloves on. The quick-change lens design allows operators to quickly and easily swap out lenses without the operator having to remove their gloves. There are no special latches or hinges. Operators simply unscrew the lens holder, tilt the light to allow the lens to drop out, tilt the light back to drop a new lens in, and screw the lens holder back in. The lens holder is machined with large tabs on both sides to allow for operators to grab hold of the unit while wearing protective gloves.
Since this LED light is mounted onto the handle of the blast gun, the operators grip is reduced. To alleviate this, Larson Electronics has added an external handle to provide operators with additional control over the blast gun. This polycarbonate handle is machined with deep grooves to provide grip while wearing protective gloves during operation. Additional and replacement handles can be purchased separately and can be mounted remote from the blast light.
Voltage: The step-down transformer installed in-line provides the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These transformers can operate on current ranging from 90 to 305V AC or 127 to 431V DC without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it. The inline transformer then steps down the input voltage to 24V DC to power the LED light.
Wiring This LED blast light is equipped with 100' of 12/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord leading up to the encapsulated step down transformer, and 5' of 16/3 SOOW cable on the input side of the transformer that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets.
Plug: Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.

Return & Refund Policy
For All non-Larson Products If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us by emailing or call 1-844-787-LITE within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).
Leased and hazardous items are also non-returnable. Contact customer service for a complete list of applicable products.
Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.
There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface)
Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
