Product Overview
'
The Larson Electronics DCP-11-4XDP-25C Waterproof Power Supply converts commonly used 100 - 277VAC electrical current to 12VDC @11 Amps. This converter includes a typical straight blade plug on the input end and four 2 prong Deutsch connectors on the output end, allowing multiple devices to be run with this unit. This converter can operate with voltages within the 100-277VAC range and converts it to 12VDC or 24VDC, allowing users to operate equipment like our LED and HID lights that require low voltage DC current from standard AC power.
The DCP-11-4XDP-25C 106 watt power converter provides a safe and effective way for users to tap into and utilize common 100 to 277 Volt AC power sources and convert this current to 12 Volts DC or 24 Volts DCÂ for use with equipment that requires 12/24 volt DC electrical power. This unit can be operated with input current ranging from 100 to 277 VAC and will output 12 Volt DC current at 11 amps or 24 Volt DC at 6.25 amps. This power converter features an IP67 rated waterproof design, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor use and includes integral short circuit and overload protection that will shut down the unit in case of faults and overloads to protect the unit and connected equipment from damage.
This converter comes with a straight blade plug on the input lead and a Y connector ending in four 2-pin Deutsch connectors on the output lead, allowing users to run 4 fixtures off one transformer, keeping in mind that the total amperage should ideally be kept within 75% of the unit`s total amperage output and not surpass its amperage maximum (11 amps @ 12VDC, 6.25 amps @ 24VDC). Most of our 12 volt LED lights and LEDLB, LEDLB-E, LEDP series lights as well as many of our HID units utilize Deutsch connectors, making this unit "plug-n-play" compatible. This converter will also work with our HML-1, CML-1, CML-2, HML-2, CML-3, HML-3 and CML-4 and HML-4 series spotlights. THIS WILL NOT WORK WITH THE HID GOLIGHT SPOTLIGHTS (GL-3XXXH-X models). If you purchase this transformer with any of our Larson Electronics lights, we will make sure that the connectors are a match.
The small size and wide input voltage range of this unit make it ideal for operating Larson Electronics LED light bars, Halogen Golights and other equipment that requires 12VDC current indoors and anywhere 12 volt DC power is not readily available. Measuring 8.7 inches long by 2.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches deep, this unit weighs less than one pound and is mounted with two conventional screws via slots that allow removal and repositioning simply by loosening the screws.
The DCP-11-4XDP-25C 106 watt converter features full range, universal AC input capability and can be operated with 100 to 277VAC. The unit converts this AC power input to 106 watt, 11 Amp 12VDC or 6.25 Amp 24VDCÂ output. IP67 rated, this unit is waterproof and suitable for indoor or outdoor applications. Integrally designed protection includes overload, short circuit and over voltage safeguards to prevent overheating and unit damage in case of faults or overly heavy current draw. This unit will shut down when an over current or over voltage condition is encountered and recovers when manually turned back on.
This power converter has a -30 / +70C operating temperature range and is UL UL1012 and UL60950-1 compliant as well as compliant with worldwide safety regulations for lighting. This unit has a 92% conversion efficiency and is suitable for use with moving LED signs and similar LED equipment.
Wiring and Plug: The AC line-in side of this transformer is equipped with 3` of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
The DC output side of this transformer is equipped with four leads, or "whips," for connecting to lights and equipment. Each whip is terminated in a waterproof DT06-2S 2-pin male Deutsch connector. The whips are constructed of 16/3 SOOW cable and measure 25` in length each extending from the output side of the transformer.
NOTE: In order to obtain the best performance and the longest operational life from these units, it is recommended that you do not exceed 75% of the unit’s output amperage. To determine if this converter suits your desired application, add together the total wattage of the equipment you intend to use with this unit and divide this total by 12 volts to find the total amperage draw that will be placed upon the converter. For example, if you are using four of our LEDP10W-20E 20 watt LED lights, 80 watts (20 watts per light) divided by 12 volts is 6.7 amps. This would mean the DCP-11-4DP is well suited as it would run at slightly more than 50% capacity to produce the necessary 6.7 amps. Running these units at 100% of their capacity can create excess heat and lead to shortened converter life.

Refund Policy
Return & Refund Policy
For All non-Larson Products If you are not satisfied with a product, contact us by emailing or call 1-844-787-LITE within 30 days of receipt. A refund may be arranged excluding freight charges upon inspection. Returned merchandise must be shipped in original packaging, freight prepaid, unused, and in resalable condition, and are subject to 25% restocking fee. PuriLite inspects all returns and reserves the right to refuse credits on damaged, used or non-resalable items. Your only obligation is the freight charge and restocking fee, provided your return is complete with original packaging, all documentation, warranty cards, cables etc. PuriLite reserves the right to authorize product returns after 30 days have passed from the order date. If the product is accepted after this period, it is subject to a 25% restocking fee and credit will be issued toward future purchases only.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable for all returns. The customer may also be responsible for return shipping charges, insurance and shipment tracking for returned merchandise.
Once you place an order, the following products are non-returnable: custom-cut, customer built or special order items (such as matting, slings, cranes, prefab offices, buildings, mezzanines, assembled lockers and regularly stocked items such as generators, pressure washers, water and trash pumps, snow throwers, radio headsets, striping paint, line stripers, floor care machines, vacuums, custom fabric chairs, forklifts) your order is considered non-cancellable and any custom-cut, customer built or special order items purchased by you are also non-returnable. Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable. There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface).
Leased and hazardous items are also non-returnable. Contact customer service for a complete list of applicable products.
Larson product return policy Every order is tested prior to shipping. The product is tested before it is put into the shipping box, crate, pallet, etc. Larson take pictures and videos of every product for every order being shipped, and store these pictures and videos with the order number in our system. Because of the complexity of some of our products, we have a very limited return policy.
For safety reasons, we do not accept returns on any hazardous location, explosion proof or intrinsically safe products. Once these products leave the factory, we cannot be sure what happens to them. We must re-build and re-certify the units to specification to ensure that the next customer receives an item that is safe to use. This is cost prohibitive. For that reason, we do not accept returns on classified products. We do not accept returns on transformers, phase converters, or frequency converters. In order to install one of the aforementioned products, typically customers will modify the product (i.e. penetrate the housing to make connections, punch out knockouts, remove or damage tinning on lead wires during installation). Because we video test every unit before it ships to ensure the unit operates as described, we know when they leave here the units are operationally functional and meet the output voltage when supplied with the input voltage per the product specification. To be clear, we do not accept returns on these items under any circumstances for these reasons.
Products that are not addressed in the above two conditions must be returned in new, unused condition.
Below are some additional considerations:
Electrical/electronic parts are easily damaged by improper installation or testing. Because electronics are very sensitive to voltage overloads, it does not take much of a voltage spike to ruin a component. Because of this risk, all electrical products returned will undergo electrical testing and assessed a testing fee. This fee will be subtracted from the final return value.
Consumable style bulbs or lamps are not returnable.
Products that contain emergency backup components are subject to very narrow warranty terms and do not qualify for return. For customer convenience, we engage the battery pack prior to shipping all emergency backup products. Many times, particularly with hazardous location rated products, the battery packs are difficult to access and the customer generally plans to install the units shortly after receipt of the shipment. Battery backup components using older technologies (Nicad, NIMH, SLA, etc) will fail quickly if they do not maintain valid grid tie support. In other words, the batteries must receive a consistent maintained charge to perpetuate long lifespans. Battery backup products that are shelved (not installed) for periods greater than 3 weeks will likely fail and need replacement sooner. This replacement will not be covered under warranty. This can also occur is the units are installed but the grid tie option is not connected correctly. Customers can specify that they do not want the battery pack to be engaged at the time of ordering if they plan to shelve the units for long periods of time prior to installation.
There are many products on the site and not all pictures depict the exact configuration of each product. Many products are custom built and/or built on demand. In some cases, products are designed and not sold immediately and rendering may be used. In all cases, the end product is built to the specification listed and the pictures shown may be close approximations. Pictures are more likely to be close approximations with more complex products, including transformers, power distribution systems, control systems, light tower systems and other highly customizable products. In no way does the approximation validate a potential return. We always build to the specification. If customers have questions, they should ask prior to purchase to clarify.
There are no returns on any medical and/or sanitizing products for obvious safety reasons. This includes PPE (including masks), tests, thermometers, sprayers and UVC lighting of any kind (portable and surface)
Many international orders, specialty orders and other complex build orders require prepayment in advance. This prepayment represents a commitment to the order. Cancelling the order will result in a deduction from the original amount paid if any refund is available, since an investment of time and money is typically required to acquire materials and prepare the order. While not all orders in this category require prepayment, cancellation fees may apply to other build orders as well. The percentage of the deduction is at Larson’s discretion but usually ranges from 30 to 50%.
