|Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EHL-LED-7W-150-EPP Explosion Proof LED Drop Light / Trouble Light is listed Class 1 Division 1 and 2, Groups C and D and is ideal for general work activities in hazardous locations requiring explosion proof protection. This portable hand lamp is fitted with a high output 10 watt LED put providing 1050 lumens, is fitted with 150` of 12/3 SOOW cable for ample length within the worksite, and terminated in an explosion proof cord cap to round off the explosion proof rating on this drop light. This trouble light is idea for temporary illumination within hazardous locations where flammable gases, vapors, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist. This 10 watt explosion proof LED work light produces 1050 lumens of bright white light and comes complete with 150 feet of explosion proof cord. The EHL-LED-7W-150-EPP LED drop light has no ballast and the housing is constructed of non sparking aluminum which results in a very lightweight unit. This hazardous location hand lamp is Class 1, Division 1 and 2 and Class 2 Division 1 and 2 hazardous location environment approved. This explosion proof LED drop light is ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed lighting is desired. These particular units also come standard with an explosion proof twist-lock plug. The plug is Class 1, Division 1 & 2 and Class 2, Division 1 & 2 rated. In order to complete the seal, operator must take twist-lock explosion proof plug and connect to an explosion proof outlet receptacle. Connecting to a regular 120V or 240V outlet renders the plug useless and should only be done when connecting the light outside of the explosion proof environment.|
This 10 watt LED drop light is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various dusts are present and projects 1050 lumens of light, which is twice the lumens per watt output of a 100 watt incandescent bulb. The LED lamp used in this unit produces nearly 3 times the illumination of incandescent lamps as measured in foot candles, at less than 1/10th of the electricity usage and without the associated heat. This LED drop light runs at operating temperatures of 55° F, greatly reducing the chances of accidents or burns commonly associated with incandescent drop lights. This lamp has no ballast, which reduces lamp weight, an aluminum globe guard, and a swiveling hook for easy overhead mounting. The solid state LED bulb has no filament, making it resistant to damage from impacts and dropping.
