This LED light offers 2,400 lumens of output with a 6000K color temperature rating. Equipped with an aluminum hook, the LED light comes with 30 meters (total) of SOOW cord and a 16-amp 3-pole 2-wire pin/sleeve explosion proof cord cap. This 15-watt explosion proof LED work light from Larson Electronics produces 2,400 lumens of bright white light during use. The EHL-LED-7W-220XLV-C1D1-20MX10M-CE16A-M1 LED drop light has no ballast and the housing is constructed of non sparking aluminum which results in a very lightweight unit. This hazardous location hand lamp is Class I, Division 1 and 2 and Class II, Division 1 and 2 hazardous location environment approved. This explosion proof LED drop light is ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed lighting is desired. The light produced by this unit has a 6000k color temperature, which is much sharper and whiter than the light produced by incandescent lamps. The light produced by this lamp is ideal for close work and inspection activities where good contrast and true color representation is needed. The LED lamp in this unit runs much cooler than incandescent or fluorescent lamps, resulting in a lamp housing that remains cool to the touch and eliminates the accidental burns often encountered with incandescent drop lights. | |||||

No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. This 15 watt LED drop light is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various dusts are present and projects 2400 lumens of light, which is twice the lumens per watt output of a 100 watt incandescent bulb. Voltage: This hand lamp has a high efficiency LED bulb that requires no ballast, so the operator doesn't need to drag the ballast housing around. This can be particularly annoying when the ballast becomes entangled in the cord. This explosion proof LED hand light operates on 12 Volts AC or 24 Volts AC for low voltage operations. An included inline transformer allows this unit to plug into a standard outlet and operate from 120-240 Volts AC, then steps the current down to 12V or 24V AC for operating the lamp. The EHL-LED-220XLV series requires the stepdown transformer to be outside of the hazardous location, but with by incorporating a Class I, Division 1 stepdown transformer and explosion proof plug, the EHL-LED-7W-220XLV-C1D1-20MX10M-CE16A-M1 is explosion proof and is able to be used within the hazardous location. Wiring: This unit is equipped with 20 meters of 600V 12/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cable leading to an encapsulated Class I, Division 1 explosion proof step down transformer. There is ten meters of 16/3 SOOW cable coming out of the inline transformer and is terminated in an IP66 rated 16 amp, 3-pole 2-wire pin and sleeve 250V blue cord cap. The transformer enclosure features a chain carry handle for easy mobility. This inline power supply for this explosion proof drop light operates on 220-240V AC 50/60Hz range. This unit allows operators to power the light from any 220V, 230V, or 240VÂ AC power source, and steps down voltage to 12V AC or 24V AC. Mount: The LED light features a heavy-duty aluminum hook at the top for temporary mounting on chains, poles, hooks, small openings, ladders and more.
