| The Larson Electronics EPCS-2XPB-2XPL-MOD1-480V.3P Explosion Proof Control Station is suitable for busy operations in Class I, II and III rated combustible facilities. Featuring four drilled and tapped operator holes, the unit supports several control mechanisms for heavy-duty machines. Operators are provided access to two maintained-contact explosion proof push buttons (red/green) and two explosion proof pilot lights (red/green). Constructed of copper-free aluminum, the unit is surface mount compatible. The EPCS-2XPB-2XPL-MOD1-480V.3P is a durable explosion proof control station designed for Class I, II and III rated locations. This unit supports a total of four drilled and tapped operator holes at the cover. Two maintained-contact explosion proof push buttons (red/green) and two pilot lights (red/green) are available on the control station, which operates on three-phase 480V. During operation, when the red push button is pressed, the red pilot light is illuminated and the green push button is automatically depressed and the green pilot light is deactivated. When the green push button is pressed, the green pilot light is illuminated and the red push button is automatically depressed and the red pilot light is deactivated. The switches contain 3-pole connectors. This explosion proof device is designed for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 (Groups B,C,D); Class I, Zones 1 & 2 (Groups IIB+H2,IIA); Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 (Groups E,F,G) and Class III rated combustible sites. The NEMA 4X rating makes the unit suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, as well as ensures protection from water, dust, moisture, dirt and external ice formation. Hubs: The control station contains a total of four 3/4" NPT hubs. All four 3/4" NPT hubs are located on the south side of the explosion proof enclosure. Mount: The EPCS-2XPB-2XPL-MOD1-480V.3P-480V.3P is compatible with surface mounting applications. Applications: Petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, paint spray booths, food manufacturing buildings, machine control, small motors, manual control and more. |
