Instead of using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied. With LED lighting technology, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking. Rather, LEDs provide instant illumination when powered on, making them more dependable and convenient than halide or incandescent lighting methods. In addition to being weatherproof and suitable for extreme temperatures, the EPHL-HHB-400W-LED-480V-SCK light delivers a powerful 12,720 lumens and high chromaticity for excellent color rendering while drawing only 125 watts. Designed with versatility in mind, this explosion proof hazardous area light runs on 480V AC 50/60 Hz.
