This unit features an internal measurement of 16" x 16" x 8" and a 9" x 9" viewing window made out of tempered soda lime glass. The surface-mount explosion proof enclosure is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPL-AEB-16.16.8-9.9GL is designed for protecting equipment inside flammable environments. The internal cavity of this flameproof enclosure measures 16" in length by 16" in width by 8" in height. Operators are provided access to a 9" x 9" viewing window at the front door of the unit. The explosion proof enclosure is constructed of copper-free aluminum and tempered soda lime glass for the viewing lens. The surface-mount compatible unit accepts a maximum conduit size of 5". A removable backplate for easy mounting of equipment outside of the enclosure can be provided at an additional cost. Mounting is provided by four ears, two per side of the enclosure.
