This hazardous location hand lamp is Class 1, Division 1 and Class 2 Division 1 hazardous location environment approved. This explosion proof compact fluorescent drop light is ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed lighting is desired. The non sparking reel contains this unit’s 50` of SOOW Cord for convenient cord management. This 26 watt fluorescent light is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various dusts are present and projects 1,700 lumens of light, roughly equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent bulb. This unit is rated Class 1, Division 1 and is complete with 50’ of SOOW 16/3 AWG terminating within the explosion proof cord reel.
This hand lamp has a compact fluorescent bulb so the operator doesn`t need to drag the ballast housing around. This can be particularly annoying when the transformer becomes entangled in the cord. This explosion proof fluorescent hand light comes standard with 120 Volts, 60 Hz operation for US voltages. This unit has a 2800k color temperature and so produces light that is warm white in color. The housing runs warm to the touch and the compact fluorescent lamp used with this unit provides 8,000 hours of lamp life.
