The EPL-ML-4X150RT-LED-50C-EPP Pull Around Explosion Proof Light Tower w/ Anti-static Wheels from Larson Electronics is an ideal solution for operators requiring a mobile light mast assembly in Class I, II or III rated combustible sites. Adjustable from 7 to 12 feet in height (above the aluminum cart deck) and equipped with four 150-watt LED lamps, this unit will provide over 70,000 lumens of quality illumination. Operators are provided access to a 50-foot 16/3 SOOW cord terminated in an explosion proof cord cap for electrical connections.

The EPL-ML-4X150RT-LED-50C-EPP is a portable lighting system designed for high mobility, while providing enough output to illuminate approximately 3 acres of area effectively. Equipped with four 150-watt explosion proof high output LED lamps, this mini tower provides operators with an easily deployed lighting system that can provide large scale illumination. This pull-around explosion proof light tower allows operators to extend the light mast from 7` to 12` above the deck of the aluminum cart.
LED Lights: This unit produces 70,000 lumens with a color temperature of 5600K standard and a color rendering index of 75 which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries. We also offer both 3000K warm white and 4500K natural white color temperature options (longer lead times may apply for non-standard temperatures). This lamp uses Cree LED units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme longevity. These Cree LEDs generate a robust 116.67 lumens per watt effective lumen output and have a 80% lumen retention at 60,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than traditional light sources.
Beam Angles: When used as a portable lighting solution, the varying beam angles are each individually ideal for several environments. The 60Â° beam provides the most intense beam of the three options. It is perfect for narrow, confined spaces and is ideally suited for tank cleaning purposes. It offers focused light to provide ample illumination to tight work spaces and other environments. The 125Â° beam offers a more diffused source of light that is also less intense in brightness. It is a great general area work light and performs well when used for outdoor illumination. The 140Â° beam offers a very wide lighting pattern and is ideal for situations where lighting distance is not a concern, but illumination of a wider area and even light distribution is. The 140Â° beam is great for situations that call for working in close proximity to lights such as in a paint booth.
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting.
Voltage: The drivers in this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These light towers can operate on current ranging from 100V to 277V AC 50/60 Hz without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it.
