3 year warranty replacement on this LED light (or LED bulbs for light fixtures with removable LED bulbs). After 30 days, the customer ships the failed LED light and/or LED bulb to Larson Electronics at their expense. If the failure is a manufacturer defect, we will ship a new replacement to the customer. If failure occurs within 30 days of receipt, Larson Electronics will provide a return label via email to the customer. When the failed light is returned, Larson Electronics will ship a new replacement.

Made in Texas The EPL-PM-1X30LED-100 Explosion Proof LED Light is UL Listed Class I Groups C and D, and is rated for use in wet and marine environments. The waterproof construction and LED lamp used with this unit provides operators with excellent power and light quality coupled with high versatility and excellent durability. The EPL-PM-1X30LED-100 features a 25 watt LED lamp and is availalbe in both spot and flood configurations. The EPL-PM-1X30LED-100 Pedestal Mounted Explosion Proof Light provides 1,500 square feet of work area coverage with 2,500 lumens of light output. The 25 watt LED lamp in this unit produces more illumination than a 150 watt halogen lamp, runs cooler, lasts far longer, and produces better color rendering and object contrast. This portable unit is waterproof and tested to 500 hours of salt spray exposure in accordance with MIL-F-8115C Military Specifications.

This portable explosion proof LED light fixture is comprised of a 25 watt LED equipped light head mounted atop a circular pedestal base. The entire unit is fabricated from cast aluminum and is factory sealed and water tight. This unit requires no external seals, has a built in carrying handle and the light head can be adjusted through 135° of vertical movement. The yoke is formed of high strength aluminum alloy, the lens is thermal shock and impact resistant glass, and the entire housing is formed of cast aluminum with an aluminum enamel coating. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. The 25 watt LED lamp in this unit is a PAR38 design and produces more lumens than a 150 watt halogen lamp. With a 5500K color temperature, the light from this unit is bright white in contrast to the yellowish hue of the standard halogen incandescent bulb. The operating temperature of this LED explosion proof light is approximately 55° Fahrenheit as compared to the 198° operating temperature of the 300 watt incandescent version. This makes the light easier to handle and move and doesn`t create additional heat in smaller, confined spaces. Additionally, the LED lamp in this unit has a far longer operational life at up to 50,000 hours as compared to the 600-100 hours for a standard halogen lamp. This greatly reduces the costs associated with frequently replacing lamps and servicing.

Wiring & Plug: This explosion proof LED light is equipped with 100 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an explosion proof cord cap for easy connection to explosion proof outlets. Plug options include a 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, a 5-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 120V explosion proof outlets, or a 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for use with 220-240V explosion proof outlets. This light is universal voltage, not multi-tap, and operates on 120-277V AC 50/60Hz without modifications or changing internal components. This unit is also available in a low voltage 11-25V AC/DC configuration. The 11-25V AC/DC models are designed to run off of low voltage DC directly. THERE IS NO INLINE TRANSFORMER or plug with the low voltage configuration. **PLEASE NOTE** voltage ratings on plugs and outlets are MAXIMUM voltage. For low voltage applications, proper voltage must be applied to the outlet or damage to the light fixture will occur. This lamp is extremely rugged and ideal for use in marine environments where damage due to salt water spray and dampness is an issue.
