The EPL-QP-1X150-150 Quadpod Mounted Explosion Proof Light provides 1,500 square feet of work area coverage with 21,000 lumens of light output. The 150 watt halogen lamp on this unit produces illumination in a wide flood pattern and provides an economical alternative to higher priced light sources. This portable unit is waterproof and tested to 500 hours of salt spray exposure in accordance with MIL-F-8115C Military Specifications. Included with this unit is an aluminum 4 legged quadpod that provides adjustment in height and leg placement and collapses to 5 feet and extends to 12 feet.

This portable explosion proof light fixture is comprised of a 150 watt halogen light head and circular base mounted atop an aluminum adjustable four leg stand. The entire lamp fixture is fabricated from cast aluminum and is factory sealed and water tight. This unit requires no external seals, has a built in carrying handle, and the light head can be adjusted through 135° of vertical movement. The yoke is formed of high strength aluminum alloy, the lens is thermal shock and impact resistant glass, and the entire housing is formed of cast aluminum with an aluminum enamel coating.
The quadpod mount of this system weights 17 lbs. and is constructed of heavy duty aluminum with four collapsible legs for easy transport and high stability positioning. The legs on this quadpod are constructed of 1.5 inch square aluminum tubing, 16 inches each in length, and can be collapsed and closed together for easy breakdown and compact transport. Small footpads automatically move into place to secure the position of the legs when they are deployed. The main supporting post is 2 inches in diameter. The light is positioned at the top of the main supporting post and locked into place with a simple hand knob. The explosion proof light is removable and can be used with only its flat pedestal base. The quadpod elevates to 12 feet and collapses to 5 feet to provide maximum light coverage of the work area and easy transport.
