Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EPL-SL-10-LED-ITG-TXF Explosion Proof LED String Light is ideal for general lighting, detailed tasks and inspections in hazardous locations. This 250-watt unit features a total of 10 LED handlamps, which provides 27,500 lumens of output during use. A heavy-duty swivel hook at the top of each handlamp offers versatile mounting on poles, indentions and small openings for hands-free operation. Equipped with an encapsulated step-down (non-explosion proof) inline transformer, cord and cord cap, a unique angled board design ensures 360° of comprehensive illumination. The EPL-SL-10-LED-ITG-TXF is designed for handheld or hands-free illumination in hazardous locations. This 250-watt unit incorporates ten explosion proof LED hand lamps connected in series and is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various dusts are present. Designed to operate on universal 120-277V AC, the lighting system emits a total of 27,500 lumens of white light with a color temperature rating of 5,000K and CRI rating of 70. An angled board configuration inside the LED lamps offer 360° illumination for full lighting requirements. This durable LED string light is constructed of non-sparking aluminum, minimizing the possibility of ignition. A frosted lens design ensures clarity and prevents blinding when looking directly at the lamp during operation. A molded T junction is mounted every ten feet, with 3 feet of 16/3 SOOW cord connecting a single drop light to the backbone. A 25-foot tail section of main SOOW cord is included to allow ample length for connection to the inline stepdown transformer. The transformer is encapsulated in a NEMA 4X enclosure, is equipped with a 10-foot line in cable, and equipped with an industrial grade plug. The non-explosion proof inline power supply for this LED string light is an auto sensing universal voltage transformer that operates on any voltage within the 100-277 volts AC 50/60Hz range. This unit allows operators to power the string light from any 120-277V AC power source, and steps down AC voltage to 12V DC or 24V DC. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

Wiring/Plug: This explosion proof LED handlamp is equipped with 135 feet of 14/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord leading to an inline encapsulated transformer, that steps down 120-277V AC to 12V or 24V DC. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug. Mounting: Operators may mount the portable LED handlamp on poles, hooks, corners, indentions, chains and other compatible openings using a sturdy annealed aluminum wire swivel hook located at the top of the unit. This hands-free option allows operators to use both hands for demanding tasks, greatly decreasing time spent inside the hazardous location. Alternatively, operators may hold the light up using a handle located at the bottom of the lamp. This handheld option is suitable for inspections and temporary, detailed tasks.
