' Product Overview '
Made in the USA The EPL-TN-150 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof High Pressure Sodium Light that is approved for Class I Division 1 Groups C & D, Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C & D, Class II Divisions 1 & 2 Groups F & D and Class III Divisions 1 & 2 hazardous areas and is also rated for use in wet and marine environments. This ruggedly constructed unit provides operators with excellent power and efficiency coupled with high versatility. This permanent mount explosion proof high pressure sodium (HPS) light provides operators with a highly dependable source of powerful light that can be used in a variety of areas and mounted to walls, brackets and any flat surface that will accommodate its adjustable yolk type mount. This unit contains a 150 watt dual ended high pressure sodium lamp and is capable of illuminating 20,000 square feet of work space. The 150 watt HPS lamp produces illumination equivalent to a typical 400 watt halogen bulb while drawing only 150 watts at 1.25 amps. The high pressure sodium lamp produces more light and runs cooler than a 400 watt halogen, resulting in an easier to handle unit and less heat in the workspace. This unit`s durability, easy mounting, high power and the exceptional color rendering of its high pressure sodium lamp make it ideal for close work and hazardous areas where safety, detail and accuracy are critical. The 150 watt HPS bulb is ideal for dust and wet area locations since the light penetrates those airborne particles well.
