| The EPO-200A-3W4P-CB from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Interlock Receptacle that is rated for Class I Divisions 1 & 2 Groups C & D, Class II Divisions 1 & 2 Groups F & G and Class III hazardous areas. This explosion proof cord cap has a voltage rating of 600V AC and 250V DC as well as having a current of 200 amperes. The EPO-200A-3W4P-CB is a 3-Wire, 4-Pole receptacle and can be used in damp, wet and corrosive areas both indoors and outdoors. Note: This unit is a mate for our . The EPO-200A-3W4P-CB is constructed from copper-free aluminum and is rated NEMA 3, 7CD, 9FG and 12 for indoor and outdoor use in wet, damp and corrosive areas. This explosion proof interlock receptacle has circuit breakers that are mechanically interlocked to provide disconnect protection, protection from short circuits as well as thermal time delay overload protection. The spring loaded door on the front of the EPO-200A-3W4P-CB is also mechanically interlocked with the circuit breakers to provide maximum safety. This explosion proof cord cap does not allow plug or receptacle contacts to be made or broken under load. The circuit breaker cannot be closed unless the plug is fully inserted and the plug cannot be taken out unless the breaker is open. The operating handle on the EPO-200A-3W4P-CB can be padlocked in either the off or on position. Being padlocked in the on position does not stop this explosion proof cord cap from opening under short circuit or overload as the breakers are trip-free of the handles. |
