| The EPPB-3P4W-480V-400AMB-42CKT-MOD1 Explosion Proof Panelboard offers circuit management and protection in hazardous locations and indoor/outdoor work sites. The 400-amp rated main breaker panel is compatible with three-phase 480V AC and comes with thirteen, 3-pole breakers. This 42-circuit panel is constructed of copper-free aluminum with stainless steel bolts. The EPPB-3P4W-480V-400AMB-42CKT-MOD1 is a rugged explosion proof panelboard, with a 3-pole, 4-wire + ground configuration, for applications in hazardous locations and explosive work sites. This main circuit breaker unit comes with a 400-amp rating and supports three-phase 480V AC. The 42-circuit panel is furnished with copper buss, with padlocking main/branch breaker handles. Operators can access five 100-amp 3-pole 480V, four 60-amp 3-pole 480V, two 30-amp 3-pole 480V and two 20-amp 3-pole 480V breakers on the explosion proof system. This panelboard is constructed of copper-free aluminum (less than 4/10 of 1%), with stainless steel bolts. Drain and breather valves without centers are included with the unit. A NEMA 4X rating ensures protection against corrosion from water and the formation of ice, the ingress of dust and external foreign objects. The explosion proof panelboard suitable for use in Class I, Divisions 1 & 2; Class I, Zones 1 & 2; Class II, Divisions 1 & 2; and Class III work sites. Hubs: The explosion proof unit contains one 3" NPT hub, fourteen 1" NPT hubs and two 1/2" NPT hubs (total of 17 NPT hubs). Mount: The EPPB-3P4W-480V-400AMB-42CKT-MOD1 is compatible with wall or surface mounting configurations. An included mounting pan contains eight mounting bolts. Applications: Hazardous locations, oil and gas facilities, petroleum refineries, chemical processing, lighting systems, overcurrent protection, short circuit protection and more.
