| The Larson Electronics EPS-2XPB-MS-M1-RB Explosion Proof Push Button Switch is Class I, Division 1 & 2 and Class II, Division 1 & 2 rated for combustible sites. This device features one black and one red push button. Equipped with labels, this explosion proof switch can be used for manual starting and stopping of small AC and DC motors. The EPS-2XPB-MS-M1-RB Explosion Proof Push Button Switch is built to be heavy duty, and is rated for 10 amps at 600 volts. The switch is enclosed in a cast aluminum device box, and the device has smooth, double flanges that mate both to the cover and the mounting enclosure to provide flame tight joints. The screws consist of stainless steel hex head screws and attach the faceplate to the cover and mounting enclosure. The switches are supplied with an internal ground screw. This unit is normally open for black and normally closed for the red. Pressing the black button holds the circuit closed (completing) to turn the connected unit on. The red holds a closed circuit, as holding the red button breaks the circuit when pressed (such as a kill switch to stop a motor). Available contact options include: normally open, normally closed or NO/black and NC/red. The following labels can be found above the push buttons: fire (red push button) and vapor cloud (black push button). The EPS-2XPB-MS-M1-RB housing is made out of a malleable aluminum body with a cast copper free aluminum alloy cover, and is epoxy powder coated for a natural finish. This switch is NRTL certified to UL 698 and rated for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 Groups C & D, Class I, Zones 1 & 2 Groups IIA, Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 Groups E, F & G, and Class III, Divisions 1 & 2. The device is available with either 1/2" or 3/4" hub sizes and in dead end or feed through configurations. Applications: Hazardous locations, motors, industrial machines, industrial sites, oil and gas facilities, processing plants, agricultural sites, warehouses and more. |
