| The Larson Electronics EPSN-LS-PA Explosion Proof Audible Loudspeaker facilitates clear and powerful paging or alerts in Class I, Division 1 combustible sites. This 15-watt explosion proof device operates on 25 Vrms or 70 Vrms and features power taps @ 15, 7, 2 and 1. Constructed of die-cast aluminum, the NEMA 4X rated signal speaker is mountable on walls and flat surfaces using an included adjustable U-bracket mount. The EPSN-LS-PA provides operators in hazardous locations with an effective and powerful loudspeaker. This transformer-coupled unit operates on 25Vrms or 70Vrms and contains selectable power inputs @ 1 watt, 2 watts, 7 watts and 15 watts. During use, the explosion proof signal speaker offers a tone frequency response range of 400-4000Hz and a voice frequency response range of 800-3150Hz. This unit provides 99 dBs of output per 10`. The housing on this audible loudspeaker is constructed of heavy-duty die-cast aluminum, which is finished in gray powder epoxy paint for durability and resistance to corrosion. This Class I, Division 1 system is NEMA 4X and IP65 rated, resulting in a unit that can deter moisture, water, dust and external ice formation. Wiring: The EPSN-LS-PA features a 1/2" NPT threaded hub at the bottom of the unit for completing wiring/conduit connections. Mounting: This explosion proof device can be mounted on flat surfaces or walls via an adjustable U-bracket mount with two openings. After installation, operators may adjust the speaker head up to 180° for optimized positioning. Applications: Hazardous locations, alarm systems, paging, paint spray booths, chemical processing, warehouses, packaging plants, oil refineries, industrial safety, petrol refineries and more. |
