Suitable for Class I, II and III rated combustible sites, the ETX-ISX-1P-480V-0.5KVA-277V provides increased reliability, protection against critical equipment failures and an extra level of protection by isolating the power source from the connected device. It also provides a secondary voltage of 277V. Featuring robust construction, this unit's cores are manufactured with non-aging, cold-rolled silicon steel laminations using state of the art technology. This unit boasts a low cost of ownership and is highly energy efficient. Lower heat emissions mean less cooling is needed as well. The transformer also features a 155°C insulation with a 115°C temperature rise. This unit is protected by a copper-free aluminum enclosure and includes a watertight gasket for a NEMA 4X rating. The explosion proof transformer is designed for Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 (Groups B,C,D); Class I, Zones 1 & 2 (Groups IIB+H2,IIA); Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 (Groups E,F,G) and Class III rated combustible sites. The NEMA 4X rating makes the unit suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications, as well as ensures protection from water, dust, moisture, dirt and external ice formation. Equipped with a bolted cover, the grey explosion proof power device is compatible with surface-mount applications.
