The EXC-3-15A-5.20C-12.3-5.15P Larson Electronics is a 3` 12/3 SOOW Linecord with Female 5-20C Portable Receptacle and 5-15P Standard Wall Plug that is designed for heavy duty and outdoor applications. This rugged extension cord is constructed of 12-gauge 3-conductor wire, equipped with a female 5-20C portable receptacle that accepts explosion proof male 5-20P plugs, a 5-15P general area straight blade male plug for connecting to standard outlets, and allows operators to power explosion proof equipment outside of hazardous areas.
The EXC-3-15A-5.20C-12.3-5.15P linecord provides a safe and effective way for operators to power a variety of explosion proof devices outside of a hazardous location with a hot permit.
Hot Work Permit:
This line cord is approved for hot work permit applications and allows operators to use their explosion proof equipment outside of an explosion proof environment. The alternative to this line cord is to convert explosion proof equipment to non-explosion proof plugs which can quickly become prohibitively expensive. Having the ability to use explosion proof equipment outside of hazardous areas when a job requires it makes this line cord able to greatly increase the versatility of explosion proof equipment. These industrial line cords are popularly used outside of hazardous locations when hot work permits have been acquired. We also offer class rated extension cords for use within explosion proof and hazardous location environments without hot work permits.
