The Larson Electronics EXC-5-12.3-GFCI-15A-WPSY-ILF-BC 5` SOOW linecord with portable GFCI duplex outlet and IP21 high visibility weatherproof housing is designed for heavy duty and outdoor applications. This rugged extension cord is constructed of yellow 12-gauge 3-conductor SOOW cord, equipped with test clips / alligator clips with rubber covers, a portable GFCI protected duplex outlet with high visibility IP21 rated weatherproof cover, and allows operators to provide ground fault protection in remote locations. The hot and neutral leads on the EXC-5-12.3-GFCI-15A-WPSY-ILF-BC have inline fuses rated at 15A and sheathed within a weatherproof casing to protect the cable from shorting.
The EXC-5-12.3-GFCI-15A-WPSY-ILF-BC linecord provides a safe and effective way for operators to extend 120V and power a variety of devices for plant maintenance, power generators, construction and other temporary applications. Five feet of yellow chemical and abrasion resistant flexible 12/3 SOOW cord terminated in test clips / alligator clips with rubber covers. An IP21 weatherproof portable GFCI duplex allows up to two devices with a combined 15 amp maximum to allow ground fault protection from receptacles that do not provide portable GFCI protection.

This portable GFCI protected linecord system with IP21 high visibility weatherproof housing is ideal for indoor or outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, generators, construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, shows, exhibits, industrial equipment, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS battery backups), stage equipment, and shipyard operations. These industrial extensor cords are popularly used in applications where external power sources are often necessary.
