The EXP-ANT-R1-9MH-2W-0.75IN from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Antenna for Class I, Division 1 and ATEX/IECEx rated sites. Equipped with a 3/4" NPT hub and TNC connector, this omni-directional device operates on 2.4 GHz. The EXP-ANT-R1-9MH-2W-0.75IN is designed for signaling and communication in combustible locations. This 2-watt device operates on a 2.4 GHz frequency and with an impedance of 50. Equipped with an impact rating of 7 joules, the omni-directional antenna offers a 2 dBi gain. The base of the unit is made out of heavy-duty nickel plated brass. This explosion proof device contains one 3/4" NPT hub at the bottom of the unit, which facilitates mounting on conduit or pipes. The bottom of the hub is equipped with a TNC connector (reverse polarity female TNC). The antenna can be mounted up to 18" away from an enclosure without additional seal. Applications: Hazardous locations, offshore locations, tank level monitoring, power plants, utility systems, wireless bridges, hazardous area computers and more.
