| The EYD-75 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Sealing Fitting that provides tight and secure electrical installations in combustible sites and industrial facilities. Constructed of iron, this seal fitting is designed to be installed on 3/4" NPT rigid conduit to provide a seal between wiring connections. The EYD-75 ensures tight seals and prevents the passage of combustible substances in electrical systems installed in flammable environments. This seal fitting is desigend to be installed on 3/4" NPT rigid conduit. Constructed of iron with a powder epoxy paint finish, the explosion proof sealing fitting is suitable for use in Class I, Division 1 & 2, Groups C, D, Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups F, G, and Class III hazardous environments. The EYD-75 explosion proof seal off is used to make a junction between an explosion proof equipiment and rigid pipe. Typically used between light fixtures, device boxes, junction boxes, or operator boxes. Typically, users will make their connections, keep the conductors separate and pour chico into the seal off. The chico compound and chico fiber is sold separately and NOT included with this unit. This seal off is approved for use within 1-1/2" of C1D1 Groups C & D switch and operator device boxes for installation within Group B environments. |
