| The FRL-CFL-E26-20W-240V from Larson Electronics is a Replacement 20 Watt Spiral Compact Fluorescent Bulb that is designed to fit in standard light bulb sockets and provide increased durability and rough service over fragile incandescent lamps. This 20 watt CFL bulb is ideal for industrial and commercial applications that require small form factor replacement lamps. The FRL-CFL-E26-20W-240V produces 1,835 lumens. The FRL-CFL-E26-20W-240V is a spiral CFL light bulb that can serve as an upgrade from standard service light bulbs. Utilizing only 20 Watts and designed to operate with 240 Volts AC, this lamp provides higher efficiency than traditional incandescentbulbs and is a direct fit replacement. The FRL-CFL-E26-20W-240V is equipped with an internal ballast. This lamp is NOT compatible with incandescent dimmers and it does NOT have internal power factor correction. This lamp has an acceptable operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C and an operational life of 10,000 hours. These 100 watt equivalent lamps feature a high color rendering index (CRI), instant-on capability, and a high degree of reliability. The FRL-CFL-E26-20W-240V measures 4.8" long and has a 2.25" diameter. This CFL lamp is offered in a color temperature of 2700 K. The E26 base is the same screw in base that the standard light bulb in the US and Europe. You can use this CFL light bulb in a standard lamp in your home. However, given the durability and longevity, we also see this CFL light bulb as an ideal solution for sealed hand lamps and drop lights that usually involve replacement seals, gaskets, etc. when relamping. As such, this CFL light bulb can provide additional safety measures and time savings, given the low heat production and that it does not require replacing for 10,000 hours. |
