This unit comes with a 600V AC @ 50-400 Hz/250V DC voltage rating. The compact plug features a 4-pole, 3-wire configuration, a water/dust tight build and offers compatibility with 480V AC. The 480V Male Plug is designed for use in general work areas. This 150-amp rated device is compatible with voltages up to 600V AC @ 50-400 Hz/250V DC, including 480V AC. A total of four poles and three wires can be found on this unit. During operation, the male plug offers shell and pole grounding (grounding style 2). The GAU-3W4P-480V-150A-P is constructed of cast aluminum, which offers extended durability in demanding environments. The heavy-duty plug meets NEMA 4 enclosure standards, allowing it to be used in both indoor and outdoor locations. This level of protection also offers resistance to water, dust and moisture. Extra wide electrical spacing is available on this unit for maximum safety. Receptacles accept only plugs of the same amperage rating, style and number of poles, making it impossible to mis-mate and provides for positive polarization.
