The GAU-48-33W-LED-D-ILS-20C-1227 is designed to provide high output and serves as a ruggedly durable lighting solution. This light features an inline power supply that steps down universal 120-277V AC input voltage to 24V DC and an inline dimmer switch for light control. This light is constructed of powder coated extruded aluminum for excellent strength and durability and is rated IP54 for protection against exposure to splashing water and limited dust ingress. These units are configured in a 46.88" long strip or "bar" profile for installation in locations where wide dispersal and a low profile is preferred. The high output, cool running operation, and good color rendering properties of this light make it an ideal replacement for older, bulkier, and less reliable HID and halogen light fixtures.
LED Benefits:
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.

The GAU-48-33W-LED-D-ILS-20C-1227 LED light is constructed of extruded aluminum with a tough powder coat finish for high strength and durability. The housing is IP54 rated, providing limited ingress protection against dusts, and basic protection against splashing water such as rain. This design is weather resistant, suitable for indoor or outdoor applications, and ideal for areas where wetness or dusty conditions are commonly encountered.

This general use LED strip light is equipped with 10 feet of 16/3 SOOW chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord between the LED light and inline power supply/dimmer switch. An additional 10 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord fitted with an industrial grade cord cap is available for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V.
Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
Mount:
Mounting for this unit is provided by two standard adjustable end brackets that allow operators to mount the light to flat surfaces and then adjust the light 170° vertically for the best placement. The entire assembly measures 46.88 inches in length and 2.68 inches wide and 1.69" deep, making it ideal for mounting in areas where space is limited and a low profile fixture more suitable for illumination.
