The GAU-HB-12L-LED-WP-WCM-3480 High Bay LED Fixture from Larson Electronics is designed for industrial work sites and elevated lighting requirements. The 60-watt fixture operates on 347-480V AC and emits 9,000 lumens of white light during use. Made out of aluminum with an acrylic lens, the unit caters to Hook, Bracket and Pipe mounting configurations. The GAU-HB-12L-LED-WP-WCM-3480 is a powerful lighting solution for large, industrial spaces. The high bay LED lamp operates on 347-480VV AC and consumes 60 watts during operation. The circular fixture emits 9,000 lumens of white light. Color temperature options include: 3000K, 4000K, 5000K or 5700K. The unit was made using cold forging, which enhances the thermal resistance features of the lamp. Beam angle options include: 60°, 90° or 120°. This high bay LED light is constructed of aluminum with an acrylic (PC) lens. The IP65-rated fixture is suitable for outdoor and humid environments. Consisting of 119 LED chips, the lamp should be mounted in elevated positions for best results. Voltage: This light is universal voltage capable and can be operated with 347-480V AC without modifications. 347V is common in Western Canada, while 480V is common in the United States and Eastern Canada. The drivers in this unit provide the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These lights can operate on current ranging from 347V to 480V 50/60Hz without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Mounting: The GAU-HB-12L-LED-WP-WCM-3480 features a variety of mounting options: Hook, Bracket and Pipe. For hook mounting configurations, the LED fixture can hang suspended in the air, via a small eyelet located at the back of the unit. When secured using a mounting bracket, the configuration offers 180° of rotation. Pipe mounting configurations are suitable for sturdy support in overhead positions.
