The Larson Electronics GAU-HER-PM-5FT-1500W-25C Portable Infrared Electric Heater is a reliable heating unit for indoor and outdoor facilities. Powered by a 1,500-watt gold coated quartz lamp, this plug-and-play system does not require gas or fuel during use. The portable heater comes with 25 feet of 14/3 SOOW cord and is mounted to an adjustable aluminum base stand.
The GAU-HER-PM-5FT-1500W-25C heat lamp is designed for indoor/outdoor use and may serve as a replacement for open flame, open element and gas burning heat sources. This fixture is equipped with a 1,500-watt gold coated quartz lamp to deliver instant heat. The back-mounted reflector and glass-free casing makes this unit highly efficient. This lamp has very low glare and is adjustable for accurate heat placement. The body of the fixture is constructed using aluminum with a powder coated finish for durability and corrosion resistance. This heater operates on 120V AC and draws 12.5 amps.

Wiring/Plug:
This electric heater is equipped with 25 feet of 14/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground or NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
Mount:
The infrared heater is secured to an aluminum base stand, which can reach 5 feet above ground when fully deployed. The center section of the base can be removed for mounting 2.5 feet above ground at a lower position. During storage or transportation, the heater is removable from the base. The heating lamp is adjustable up or down 90 degrees and lockable into desired positions by simply loosening the two hand screws located on either side of the light head and re-tightening them once the preferred angle is found.
