Buy American Compliant The GSLEDIP24-C1D2 from Larson Electronics is a Low Profile Hazardous Location Lighting Solution that is approved for Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C & D environments and UL 1598 compliant for use in wet locations. This powerful 24" long LED strip light produces 2,600 lumens, operates on 11-25V AC/DC, and is suitable for a variety of applications. The GSLEDIP24-C1D2 is designed to provide a high output and ruggedly durable hazardous area lighting solution for applications where Class I Division 2 compliance is required. This low voltage explosion proof light can be operated with 11-25V AC/DC low voltage current and includes 6 feet of connecting lead with standard two wire configuration. This light is constructed of powder coated extruded aluminum for excellent strength and durability and is rated IP65 for protection against exposure to splashing water and limited dust ingress. These units are configured in a 24" long strip or "bar" profile for installation in locations where wide dispersal and a low profile is preferred. The high output, cool running operation, and good color rendering properties of this light make it an ideal replacement for older, bulkier, and less reliable HID and halogen light fixtures. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. The LEDs in this linear light are Cree LEDs that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme long life. These Cree LEDs provide over 130 lumens per watt output and have a 70% lumen retention at 50,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than comparable LEDs. This LED light produces 2,600 lumens with color temperature options of 5000K, 4000K or 3000K along with a color rendering index of 75 which produces colors and details much more accurately than incandescent, halogen, or fluorescent light fixtures. Durability: The GSLEDIP24-C1D2 hazardous location LED light is constructed of extruded aluminum with a tough powder coat finish for high strength and durability. The housing is IP65 rated, providing limited ingress protection against dusts, and basic protection against splashing water such as rain. This design is weather resistant, suitable for indoor or outdoor applications, and ideal for areas where wetness or dusty conditions are commonly encountered. Mounting: Mounting for this unit is provided by two standard adjustable end brackets that allow operators to mount the light to flat surfaces and then adjust the light 170° vertically for the best placement. The entire assembly weighs 2.1 lbs and measures 24 inches in length, and 2.68 inches wide and 1.69 inces deep, making it ideal for mounting in areas where space is limited and a low profile fixture more readily installed. Wiring/Power: This light operates on low voltage 11-25V AC/DC current. Each strip light is equipped with 6 feet of 16/3 SOOW cable for making power connections.
