This powerful 36" long LED strip light produces 1,812 lumens, operates from 12V DC or 24V DC current and is suitable for a variety of applications. The HAL-36-25W-LED-E2E-V2 is equipped with an NPT wiring hub on each side of the light strip which allows these lights to be connected end to end, or daisy chained together, via rigid conduit. Terminal strips inside the hubs allow operators to complete their connections with their own wiring and conduit. The HAL-36-25W-LED-E2E-V2 is designed to provide a high output and ruggedly durable lighting solution for applications where Class I Division 2 compliance is required. This low voltage explosion proof light can be operated with either 12 or 24 volt DC current. This light is constructed of powder coated extruded aluminum for excellent strength and durability and is rated IP54 for protection against exposure to splashing water and limited dust ingress. These units are configured in a 36" long strip or "bar" profile for installation in locations where wide dispersal and a low profile is preferred. The high output, cool running operation, and good color rendering properties of this light make it an ideal replacement for older, bulkier, and less reliable HID and halogen light fixtures. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Durability/Mounting: The HAL-36-25W-LED-E2E-V2 hazardous area LED light is constructed of extruded aluminum with a tough powder coat finish for high strength and durability. The housing is IP54 rated, providing limited ingress protection against dusts, and basic protection against splashing water such as rain. This design is weather resistant, suitable for indoor or outdoor applications, and ideal for areas where wetness or dusty conditions are commonly encountered. The LEDs in this linear light are Cree X-Lamp XR-E units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme long life. These Cree LEDs provide over 90 lumens per watt output and have a 70% lumen retention at 50,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than comparable LEDs. Mounting for this unit is provided by two standard adjustable end brackets that allow operators to mount the light to flat surfaces and then adjust the light 170° vertically for the best placement. The entire assembly weighs 2.1 lbs and measures 35.88 inches in length, 2.68 inches wide and 1.69 inches deep, making it ideal for mounting in areas where space is limited and a low profile fixture is more readily installed. Daisy Chain Capable: The HAL-36-25W-LED-E2E-V2 is capable of being used in a daisy chain, or end-to-end, configuration with other individual units using rigid conduit. This gives this LED strip light a great deal of versatility in a wide range of lighting situations. Each side of the light is equipped with a NPT wiring hub that is available in either a 1/2" hub size or 3/4" hub size. Please make your hub size selection below when ordering. To connect multiple units, operators simple bring their own wiring and conduit to each NPT hub and complete their connections via the terminal strips inside. Versatility: The HAL-36-25W-LED-E2E-V2 is ETL approved for Class I Division 2 groups A, B, C and D locations.
