This 20-watt, waterproof unit supports dual LED lamps, which offers cleaner and brighter output than 100-watt incandescent indicator lamps. Constructed of non-metallic and corrosion resistant components, this LED luminary is equipped with an adjustable pole top slip fit mounting system for elevated positioning. The HAL-TL-2X10W-LED-PT is an indicator lighting solution for industrial facilities and hazardous locations. This unit features a dual lamp configuration, with full, 360-degree coverage. Lamp color options include red, white, blue, amber, green, and purple. The LED lamps in this traffic light are 10 watts each (total of 20 watts) and offer clean, bright output that surpasses 100-watt incandescent indicator lamps. Operators can choose between the following light patterns: steady burn or strobe. This unit is available in 120-277V AC, 12V DC or 24V DC configurations for high or low voltage operation. The explosion proof light is constructed of corrosion and chemical resistant GE Lexan polycarbonate with Pyrex globes, making it suitable for spray down areas and marine locations. The unit also carries UL and CSA certification, USCG acceptance, NTRL Listing for wet locations in any orientation and UL 595 approval. This Class I, Division 2 rated luminary is designed to operate within a temperature range of -29° C and 40° C. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Wiring/Configuration: This explosion proof fixture is configured for dual color output (one lamp each color) from the following choices: red, white, blue, amber, green, and purple. Power is provided by one cord equipped with flying leads to allow independent operation of each lamp, making this unit ideal for fuel depots where stop and go indicators are necessary. Note on Lights: The color choices and light configuration of this unit can be customized to your requirements. Mount: The HAL-TL-2X10W-LED-PT features a slip fit yoke for easy installation. The slip fit yoke is built to customer`s specs, enabling operators to mount this explosion proof LED light to their specific pole size. For example, selecting a 2" OD mount means that the yoke mount will fit onto pipes or bull horns with a 2" OD.
