Made in the USA The Larson Electronics HALD-EMG-24-1X150LED Hazardous Area LED Light Fixture with Emergency Backup is designed to provide operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional hazardous location luminaries. This LED panel mount fixture is ETL listed Class 1 Division 2, Class 2 Divisions 1 & 2,and is approved for use within paint spray booths. LED technology and compact design makes this lamp an excellent replacement upgrade option for paint booths and hazardous locations where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors are present. ***PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO THIS HAZARDOUS LOCATION LIGHT FIXTURE*** The HALD-EMG-24-1X150LED Explosion Proof fixture is a 2x2 Class 1 Division 2 hazardous location lay-in LED light fixture is ideal for use in paint spray booths and hazardous environments where space for lighting fixtures is limited. This fixture is T5 temperature rated and is a fully integrated LED unit. The LED assembly is protected by an aluminum framed, hinged, 3/16" thick polycarbonate door that provides direct front access to the internal components. The lamp housing is designed for recessed mounting, and is constructed of non-sparking aluminum coated with a powder coated white finish. This Class 1 Division 2, Class 2 Division 1 & 2 explosion proof light fixture provides 12,500 lumens of high quality light while drawing only 150 watts. The copper free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. A special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture to achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. Light weight and a low profile make this unit an attractive alternative to larger and heavier older fixtures and requires less hardware to install. With an integrated emergency ballast, this paint spray booth LED light will continue to operate the fixture for 90 minutes at 20 watts, providing 1667 lumens once the main electrical power to the light is severed. Once standard electrical power is restored, the emergency battery pack will be recharged. The integrated LED assembly in this unit features multiple LED drivers which helps to increase the operational life of the fixture. With traditional LED lights, in the event an LED array or driver fails, the entire fixture no longer illuminates. This new series of LED lamps contains twenty-four individual LED boards configured in a series of banks. Each bank contains two LED boards with an individual driver. In the event of a driver failure, only one bank of LEDs will be effected while the other banks will continue to operate. In the event that of an LED failure, the mating LED will continue to operate. Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting. This light is multi-voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 VAC, 50/60Hz without any need for a special ballast. The aluminum body and LED lamp give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LED luminaries. The LED lamp produces 12,500 lumens with a color temperature of 6000K and a color rendering index of 70 which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries. This fixture is designed for recessed mounting and requires a mounting hole to be made in booth panels capable of accommodating the fixture housing in order to provide the maximum amount of space in paint spray booth enclosures. Once mounted, this fixture`s door frame will extend 3/8” into the spray booth. Applications: Paint spray booths and enclosed spaces where flammable chemical/petrochemical vapors are present.
