The Larson Electronics HALP-48-3L-SSPM Stainless Steel Hazardous Area Pole Mount Fluorescent Light Fixture is U.S./Canada listed for Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D, UL 1598A, T4C temperature rating, and is specifically designed to handle the rigors of wet and corrosive marine environments. This hazardous location light fixture features a pole mounting system and stainless steel hardware for use in corrosive and marine environments.
The HALP-48-3L-SSPM hazardous area fluorescent light fixture is designed for use in wet areas and saltwater-marine environments where corrosion resistance is critical to equipment longevity and safety. The HALP-48-3L-SSPM stainless steel pole mount hazardous area LED light fixture is designed for use in wet areas and saltwater-marine environments where corrosion resistance is critical to equipment longevity and safety. This Class 1 Division 2 rated fixture is constructed of non-corrosive materials including a polyester housing reinforced with glass fiber, a poured in gasket for reliable sealing and an impact resistant acrylic diffuser. Eight corrosion resistant stainless steel latches secure the lamp cover to the housing and provide a firm lock against the poured in seal to prevent drips and water intrusion. Two stainless steel bar clamp mounting brackets allow operators to secure the light fixture to existing light poles.
The HALP-48-3L-SSPM is UL 844 rated and Class 1 Division II, Groups A, B, C, D approved. This fixture also carries a UL 1598A outdoor marine rating and meets US Coast Guard specifications. This lamp offers the extreme durability and high efficiency in a proven hazardous location fixture design, making it a reliable and affordable lighting solution for open areas where flammable chemicals and vapors may occasionally be present.
NOTE ON LAMPS: This fixture comes equipped with three T5HO, T8, or T12HO fluorescent lamps. The F54-T5/850/HO 54 Watt lamps produce 5,000 lumens per bulb for 15,000 lumens per fixture, a 5000 or 4100 Kelvin color and a 20,000 hour rated service life. The F32-T8/841 32 watt lamps produce 2950 lumens per bulb for 8,850 lumens per fixture, a 4100 Kelvin color and a 24,000 hour rated service life. The F48-T12/HO 60 watt lamps produce 4050 lumens per bulb for 12,150 lumens per fixture, and a 12,000 hour rated service life. The HALP-48-2L has an electronic universal voltage ballast and operates on a range of voltages from 120V to 277V AC 50/60Hz including: 120 Volt 60 HZ, 220 Volt 50 HZ, 240 Volt 60 HZ and 277 Volts 60 HZ.
Mounting:Â This pole mount fixture is equipped with two stainless steel bar clamps to allow operators to secure the light fixture to existing poles. This two-piece clamp provides easy installation, and the fixture is equipped with either a 1/2" or 3/4" NPT wiring hub. All mounting hardware is stainless steel or non-metallic for corrosion resistance. We offer this pole mount system to be installed on standard 1-1/2", 1-3/4", 2", 2-1/4", 2-1/2", 2-3/4", and 3" pole sizes. Suggested Applications: The HALP-48-2L-SSPM is designed for marine, wet, damp locations where corrosion resistant fluorescent lights are required or are already present. This includes petrochemical facilities, lubrication pits, oil drilling rigs, crew quarters, solvent/cleaning areas, water treatment areas, processing plants and marine loading docks.
