| Made in the USA The Larson Electronics HDL-BP-RG Heavy Duty Emergency Runway Light is battery powered and provides visual illumination when power is unavailable. This steady beacon is 100% portable and provides a highly effective alternative to beacons that require wiring and special permanent mounting. This particular unit has a combined red and green light output. This beacon/warning/hazard light contains two lamp assemblies that produces a brilliant red and green signal that is visible up to 1 mile away. This beacon contains red and green LEDs housed within a clear lenses, is 100% portable, with a weighted base, and battery operation that allows it to be operated wherever a powerful beacon is needed. With no need for wiring or external power sources, this light is ideal for applications where a signal light is needed on an occasional or temporary basis. Light output in this unit overpowers traditional signal lights by utilizing a clear lenses and colored LED assembly, instead of relying on colored lenses that lessen total light output. This unit provides complete 360° illumination. The durable polyethylene housing and clear polycarbonate lenses are designed to provide high strength and visibility as well as versatile placement. Operation of this unit is controlled by a simple rocker switch located on the side of the housing. Dimensions for this beacon are 8.5 inches in width by 11.25 inches high. Power is supplied by two standard 6-Volt DC, spring terminal lantern batteries (not included).
