This spotlight produces a 6250 lumen light beam capable of reaching over 4000+ feet in length. This light operates on 12-24 volts DC and includes a 16 foot straight cord with cigarette plug for connection to vehicles, boats ATV`s and similar vehicles.. This light weight and waterproof 70 watt HID spotlight is ergonomically designed to produce a well balanced and easily managed handheld light source that can withstand demanding conditions and use. The entire unit weighs 4.6 lbs and is constructed with a high impact resistant nylon handle and lamp housing, and a thick borosilicate hardened glass lens for extreme durability. The unique lens and reflector design of this unit allows it to produce a high quality spotlight beam with exceptional intensity and long reach without irregularities or lens artifacts.

An integrated on/off power switch located on the side of the light head provides easy one finger operation and the no-slip textured surface of the handle provides a sure grip even in wet conditions. The ergonomic handle features eight rubber bushings imbedded in the base mounting plate ensure that the light receives nominal vibration. The bushings act as a beam stabilizer, where operators can use a beam that experiences far less "jiggle" than conventionally mounted lights. Finally, the high impact nylon housing is durable, flexible and lightweight. Light fixture weight is often the cause of the light`s demise in high vibration applications. By reducing the weight, but maintaining the strength with nylon, the light itself does not become an impediment to its own longevity. The HL-70W-CP spotlight is designed for easy field maintenance with simple internal connectors accessed through the snap in base at the bottom of the handle and a lamp housing that is easily removed to access the bulb and wiring. No tools are required to change any part of the light including the bulb. Combined with the fact that HID bulbs have no filament to break and the bulb life is rated at 3500 life hours, this durable HID spotlight is an ideal choice for hunting, fishing, boating, as well as military, law enforcement, and emergency services applications. This units’ reflector is designed to provide maximum efficiency and power by capturing and focusing all of the light produced by the 70 watt HID bulb. The shallow convex lens produces minimal light loss and beam spillage with over 90% of the produced light concentrated and focused. While many typical spotlights lose as much as 50% of their output to light escaping around the lens and creating beam spillage, our spotlight produces a well focused and directed light beam of excellent whiteness, intensity and power. The 70 watt bulb in this unit is rated at 3500 hours of operational life and produces 6,250 lumens. The HL-70W-CP is universal voltage and designed to operate on either 12 or 24 volts DC. On 12V DC, this handheld spotlight draws 8 amps at start for 60 seconds, and 5.8 amps continuous. This unit is equipped with a 16 foot heavy gauge straight cord ending in a non-fused cigarette socket plug. We also offer optional cords including heavy jacketed straight cords as optional accessories that are terminated with spring battery clamps, cigarette plugs, battery ring terminals, NATO connectors and Hubbell plugs, and the C-25CP 25 foot straight cord with heavy jacket and molded cigarette plug.
