This 4-pole, 5-wire plug is designed to provide a secure connection for electrical equipment within the hazardous location. This hazardous location 4-pole 5-wire pin and sleeve plug is compatible with our HLO-EX-30A-4P5W-480Y.277 hazardous location power receptacles. This plug is rated for 30 amps and is suitable for ATEX/IECEx rated flammable sites. With NEMA Type 3, 4, 4x and IP66 ratings, the unit is recommended for outdoor, marine and wet locations. The HLP-EX-30A-4P5W-480Y.277 features polyamide construction, a 30-amp current rating, and is operates on 480Y/277V AC. This plug is coded red to indicate its voltage rating and ground pin position. The color coding of these units makes it impossible to connect different voltages and current ratings, to ensure safe power connection. Suggested Applications: Chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, petrochemical operations, offshore applications, coal mining and other refinery or industrial operations. |
